Infirmary, former infirmary, later mansion and ephorate. The origins of the building date back to the monastery period of the 13th/14th centuries. Century, but was later partly significantly redesigned. The two oriels date from the ducal period (16th century).

At the end of the 12th century it was first used as a hospital. It was converted into an abbot's house and guest house several times in the 15th and 16th centuries. Today the building, which is not open to the public, is home to the Maulbronn Evangelical Seminary.
