From here you look out at a small island chain silhouetted against Black Mountain, the tallest mountain in the Lake George Wild Forest. Hatchet Island and Floating Battery Island are directly in line with the peak, while Duran Island, Sagamore, Saint Sacrament, and others lie slightly to the north.
