The Adige Valley Cycle Path
2nd stage: from Meran to Trento
The stage from Meran to Trento is 98 km long and has a lot of extraordinary sights in store. The castles around Bolzano are not only a jewel in the landscape from afar, some of them can also be visited. Lake Caldaro in the south of South Tyrol is a popular meeting place, especially in summer, and offers you the opportunity for a refreshing swim. We continue through the impressive Trento landscape to the city of Trento, which is well worth seeing!

Sudtiroler Obstbaumuseum - Museo di Frutticoltura Lana
South Tyrol and fruit growing
With 18,500 hectares, South Tyrol is the largest contiguous fruit-growing region in Europe. Six billion apples are produced here every year. Lana is the largest and at the same time one of the oldest fruit-growing communities in the country and is therefore almost predestined for a museum presentation of the topic of fruit-growing.
