The big bridge over the Maas might be a bit noisy due to the traffic, but you have a nice view of Roermond and the Roermond campsite and harbour. At the end of the bridge there are a number of opportunities to drive along the Maas and other winding waterways. I can recommend the route to Thorn, for example.

There is a lot of traffic on the bridge over the Maas, with the N280. As a cyclist, this doesn't bother you (except for noise), as you can use your own paths and they are also nice and wide.
