The Gulldal area consists of a forge, mechanical workshop, locomotive shed, carpentry workshop and compressor building with associated cooling water pond and switchgear. This center formed the heart of the stone industry in Malmö.
The forge is from the latter part of the 1930s and is the best preserved and documented building. It was built with four double aces and is said to be the oldest and only preserved of this type and design in Sweden. It is owned by Sotenäs municipality and managed by Hembygdsföreningen in Malmö.
