Cycling
The synagogue was built in the second half of the 19th century. During World War II, the Nazis devastated the synagogue. After the war, the abandoned synagogue building was rebuilt to serve as a locomotive depot.
The unplastered brick synagogue building was built on a rectangular plan. The exterior decoration, including the Star of David-shaped oculi in the gable walls, has been preserved. The interior has been completely rebuilt.
Currently, the roof has collapsed on one side.

Cycling
It is not a synagogue and never has been. The often repeated error is probably due to the round window with the Star of David incorporated into it. It is a locomotive depot building, part of the station facilities in Dobiegniew. Currently, the building is in terrible condition and threatens to collapse. The real synagogue was located on Junkerstraße (now Jedności Street) and was destroyed in 1938.
