The flood retention basin (HRB) Düdelsheim, popularly known simply as the "dam", was built in 1969 to eliminate the risk of flooding for the lowlands - and thus fulfills an important task for the entire region. It is located directly on the Seemenbach, not far from the Findörfer Hof, which belongs to Düdelsheim. The surrounding area is very popular with walkers and cyclists due to the beautiful landscape and scenic views.
