The Plateaux-Hageven is a beautiful nature reserve that extends across Belgium and the Netherlands. It is an oasis of 600 hectares with heaths, fens, forests and grasslands, where the Dommel winds its way along the landscape. The area is also known for its many water birds and dragonflies.
The nature reserve consists of two parts: The Plateaux in the Netherlands and Hageven in Belgium. Both parts are part of Natuurmonumenten in the Netherlands and Natuurpunt in Belgium. They work together to manage and protect the area.
