Hiking
The Tunåsen viewing platform is located on the Tunåsen ridge north of Uppsala and offers a wide view of the surrounding landscape. From here, you can particularly beautifully overlook the open fields, forest areas, and parts of Gamla Uppsala with its distinctive burial mounds. The short climb is especially worthwhile for its quiet location and the unusually wide perspective on the otherwise rather flat landscape around Uppsala.
