While the changing of the guard in front of Parliament is known to some, that in front of the President's Residence is more of an insider tip. You can see both together if you just follow the retreating guards from Parliament and then continue marching to the Presidential Palace!

The president's residence is guarded by the Evzones, guards in traditional clothing, who change every hour at a quarter past. The changeover here attracts a much smaller crowd than the one on Syntagma Square, so you can see the ceremony a lot better.
