The prayer is usually done by circumambulation in a clockwise direction, reciting the Om Mani Padmé Hum, or other prayers for peace. This monument for peace on the initiative of the venerable Gonsar Rinptoché, Tibetan Buddhist abbot of the Rabten Choeling monastery (Mont-Pèlerin, Switzerland) was financed by international donations, made by local craftsmen and inaugurated on 2/9/2007 by the venerable.
