Absolutely overrun by tourists, yet a beautiful jewel in the Bavarian Alps. A little tip: The tickets for the boat trips can be bought in advance on the Internet. This saves you from having to queue at the ticket counter on busy days (weekends and public holidays) (a good half an hour waiting time). If you want to go up to Funtensee, you should factor in the journey (around 45 minutes) plus the purchase of the tickets (around half an hour).
