The Buttermilk Falls Gorge and Rim Trail Loop offers a captivating journey through a narrow canyon, showcasing a dramatic series of waterfalls and intricate rock formations. This easy 1.0-mile (1.5 km) hiking loop involves 425 feet (129 metres) of elevation gain and takes about 32 minutes to complete. Be sure to check for seasonal closures, as the Gorge Trail is often closed in winter and early spring due to ice.
