In the center of Killybegs stands St. Mary of the Visitation Church, a slender 19th-century neo-Gothic church whose tall tower clearly stands out above the fishing town. Its location on a slight elevation offers a beautiful view of the harbor and the surrounding hills from the churchyard. The building is sober but elegant, with pointed arches and natural stone that fit well with the rugged coastal landscape.

St. Mary of the Visitation - the town's main church with a long history of parish formation in the Diocese of Donegal. Its structures date back to the Middle Ages. The three stained glass windows in the chancel above the high altar were designed and made by the German company Meyer.
