The trail offers decent lake views, is rocky and occasionally winds between tall stone pillars. It is recommended to use a navigation app at the start, since the beginning of the trail is not well marked. You will have many opportunities to switch between the Upper Ledges and Lower Ledges trails once they diverge since the two routes parallel one another and intersect occasionally.
