This cobblestone street is very annoying for cyclists - The cobblestones are very rough, making it almost impossible to cycle.
There is a verge on one side - but cars are always parking there. There are potholes, puddles and small bumps that have to be avoided - a real slalom course...
Very strenuous and annoying!

The Alte Landstraße does at least have a historical background - Around 1810, French troops were quartered in the parish of Siek. The country road was probably paved during this time. Because the Napoleonic troops needed fortified military roads to advance quickly.
