Hiking

The Püttlach chapel was built on the initiative of those returning from the war out of gratitude for their healthy return in 1950 and was inaugurated in August 1951. St. Laurentius was chosen as the patron saint. The construction costs at that time were 8920 DM, a very high amount for that time. The patron saint is celebrated every year on August 10th. Saint Laurentius was a deacon and died a martyr's death on the red-hot grate.
