Cherry Canyon is an easy beginner friendly walk from the ferry docks, and winds through the lowland hills of Santa Rosa Island. The canyon is named after the red flowering plants which can be found in abundance in the area. During spring/early summer the flowers come into full bloom in a brilliant display of deep cherry red colors.
