Serving as one of the flatter and more beginner friendly trails in the area, Deer Hill Trail took quite a hit from the Schultz fire of 2010. This section of trail travels through one of the burned areas; take notice of the extensive trail work and maintenance performed by a handful of different groups in the area. Some trails might be free to use, but they certainly come at a cost!
