The Vineta Museum is housed in a former merchant's house from the 18th century. Various exhibitions on four floors show the maritime past of the city of Barth and the Baltic Sea region. The sunken city of Vineta is the focus of a small exhibition. Special exhibitions on various topics and cultural events take place regularly.
