The Maas Gothic tower is the only remnant of the original Gothic church from the 15th or 16th century.
The massive Maasgothic west tower is made of Maastrichtersteen (marl stone) and has two sections, separated by a water frame. The tower ends in a constricted, slate needle spire with a profiled cornice below.
On the four sides of the upper section are pointed arch-shaped pewter holes with quarter-hollow profiles. The southern facade is partially cemented.

The Sint-Hubertuskerk in Kanne seems to have a bit of a double face. The tower that stands there today dates from the fifteenth or sixteenth century and is Maasgothic in style. However, the main building is much more recent and you can tell. The nave, built in 1787, was replaced by a hall church in 1938.
