The no longer recognizable "Upper St. Briccius Stolln" detached the treasure trove from the water, but soon became irrelevant due to the lower "Middle St. Briccius Stolln".
In 1442 the pit "St. Briccius" already confirmed by the Geyer Mining Authority and documented in 1468.
