The Upper Fache Lake is located at 2,427 meters above sea level.
It takes about 4 hours to walk to reach it from the pay parking lot of the Pont d'Espagne. The lake is located between the Refuge du Wallon and the Col de la Fache.
The bivouac is possible around the lake and some spaces are arranged to facilitate the installation. The lake offers a unique view of the Vignemale, the highest point in the French Pyrenees. You can also observe the Pic d'Ardiden, the Pic du Chabarrou and the Grand Pic de Péterneille.
