At four miles long, the Chichester Canal is a serene way to run between the town of Chichester and its marina in the harbour. It was built in the 1820s, during which a haul of 300 Roman coins were unearthed.

Running
Lovely walk which becomes quiet just a short distance from Chi basin. The path is wide and pretty accessible from Chi until Donnington but the section nearest Chi marina is narrow, with nettles encroaching, and rutted/ muddy/ slippy.
