The Little Mulberry Park and Miller Lake Loop offers a delightful 5.3-mile (8.6 km) hike, winding through diverse landscapes with 455 feet (139 metres) of elevation gain, typically completed in about 2 hours and 21 minutes. This moderate route, officially the Karina Miller Preserve Loop Trail, is largely a paved, multi-use path, making it incredibly accessible. You'll enjoy serene views of Miller Lake, pass through vast meadows, and find shade under hardwood trees, with opportunities to spot local wildlife like deer and geese.

Planning your visit is straightforward, as the park provides ample parking and convenient amenities such as restrooms and picnic tables near the access points. The trail is well-maintained and clearly marked, making it easy to navigate. It's a fantastic option for a leisurely outing, suitable for families and casual walkers, and can be enjoyed throughout the year, with autumn bringing vibrant fall colors.

Beyond the scenic loop, Little Mulberry Park is a significant natural and historical site, encompassing 890 acres. The trail itself was designed to maximize lake views and showcase the pastoral landscapes. Notably, the park also provides access to prehistoric stone mounds, some dating back to 100 BC, adding a unique historical dimension to your visit and making it one of the popular trails and routes in the area.
