From here, a beautiful view opens up of the striking Y-Burg castle above Stetten im Remstal. The small castle complex from the 13th century is one of the region's best-known landmarks and is picturesquely nestled among the vineyards. Particularly exciting: The Y-Burg presumably owes its unusual name not to the letter itself, but to an earlier spelling of the word “I”, which looked similar in the Middle Ages. Today, the castle almost seems to have grown out of the landscape and gives the entire Remstal valley a particularly characteristic backdrop.
