Mountain biking

Monastery dating back to 560 AD approximately, inhabited by the nuns called "Incarcerate" for many centuries (probably until around 1200); the last occupant was Brother Carlo Carretto of the Little Brothers who retired here in 1965. In front of the Convent there is a spring, considered miraculous over the centuries, which has been dry since 2015. Unfortunately, the Convent seems destined for definitive ruin.....

Hiking

I have always been fascinated by old structures where once there was something. In this case a convent founded in 560 AD by some followers of Saint Benedict of Norcia. The state of the structure is a shame, where vegetation is starting to take over.
