Road cycling

I like driving steep ramps, I love such challenges! If you like it even steeper: Hirschbichl/Lofer 30%, Passo Forcella (Friuli) 28%, Alpe Fuori 32% (total: 5.5km with 1200m elevation gain...) to name just a few...

Road cycling

The climb to the Turracherhöhe with a 23% section is an absolute must for every racing cyclist. The increase is otherwise quite exhausting, but the 23% are of course the highlight. Uphill I had to ride standing up, as sitting in front of the front wheel took off, downhill you have the feeling of tilting forward, if you do not shift the weight far back. The downhill is also great, mostly the surface is hervoragned, only in the steepest part not, but here it is still good.

Road cycling

For years, the ascent to the Turracher Höhe was one of the steepest drivable roads in Europe with a 34% gradient. Meanwhile defused, the maximum incline "only" reaches 23%. A hard piece of work! Now imagine another 11% more incline: D
