It lies on the ridge separating the comarcas of Alta Ribagorça and Pallars Jussà, specifically between the original municipality of La Torre de Cabdella and the former municipality of Barruera (now Vall de Boí). It's located south of Cap de les Raspes Roies and north of the point where these two municipalities meet with Sarroca de Bellera.
