Vallhagar is an Iron Age village inhabited between 200 BC and 555 AD. It comprises a number of foundations for houses and farm buildings and animal enclosures together with burial cairns. There were probably 5 or 6 farmsteads here each comprising between 3 and 5 buildings. The final demise of the village was when the buildings were burned down, by whom and why is unknown at this stage.
