This is obviously a crash structure of the outflow canal of the former MONTURON sea works in Falkenhagen. In any case, it would have made sense to take the cooling water for the technical processes in the MONTURON factory from the Schwarzer See and drain it into the Schmielensee so as not to suck in warmed-up water. This is a common process for seawater cooling, e.g. in power plants.
