Obelisk in memory of the inhabitants of Schönfeld who died in the war of 1914-18.
The obelisk is located right next to the fieldstone church, built in the 13th century as a rectangular hall building. A fire in 1876 necessitated a thorough reconstruction. The building received a richly decorated tower with corner turrets, an indented lantern and an open balustrade. The neo-Gothic furnishings from 1878 have been fully preserved, including the stalls, gallery, altar, baptismal font and the frieze surrounding it.
