Hiking
Formigal, in addition to being a ski resort, is a population center belonging to Sallent de Gállego where you will find a wide variety of accommodation. Currently there are about 200 people who have their habitual residence there.
The legend of the area says that Formigal has this name due to the love that the daughter of the gods Anayet and Arafita (Culivillas) felt for the white ants that covered the slopes of the mountains (formigas in Aragonese).

Hiking
A good mountain site, both in winter and summer. From here you can practice a multitude of mountain trails and mythical climbs to the most emblematic peaks, such as El Garmo Negro, el Balaitus, el Anayet, el Midí, etc.
