You will encounter a seamless blend of unspoiled nature and historical testaments, from Etruscan archaeological sites and Roman roads like sections of the Via Francigena to charming medieval villages. The region is also home to volcanic lakes such as Lake Vico and Lake Bolsena, ancient beech forests on Monte Cimino, and impressive waterfalls like Cascate di Monte Gelato.
