Hiking
The alpine hut, which is well managed by the owner, is a popular place to go for young and old in summer. The nearby Umbal waterfalls also ensure that the Islitzeralm is always well frequented. It takes 20 minutes to get to the Alm from the Ströden car park. Johannes and his kitchen team serve a great mushroom goulash and a hearty sausage salad. The visit is advisable in the late afternoon. Throughout the day there are many visitors to the nearby Umbal Falls.

Hiking
The Islitzeralm is the only alpine pasture still in operation on the way to the Umbal Falls, the Pebellalm is permanently closed.

Good food, reasonable prices. Ideal place for a rest. Nice location and also with a playground for the children.
