Why is there a sign saying "Catalusia"?
In 1868 the landowner instructed the Perlin farmers to settle on their own land. Because of this, four families dismantled their farmhouses and rebuilt them on the road from Perlin to Groß Welzin.
This is how the residential area "Catalusia" came into being. One of the farmhouses burned down over time. Three of them are still inhabited today. A sign along the way is intended to remind you of that time.
