Hiking

On the way you can see a row of trees made of so-called bent harps. The row consists of hornbeams and copper beeches. They all have very short and deeply branched stems. The branches were routed to form a dense fence. Today they are extraordinarily gnarled remnants of old natural hedges.

Hiking

Bent harps like these are not naturally grown, but created by man. Whether they are a natural monument or a cultural monument, they are definitely worth protecting!
