The statue for Beverungen was designed by the sculptor Raphael Strauch from Willebadessen. He fashioned the Nepomuk figure from a block of sandstone from Arholzen that weighed almost five tons. This was now placed on a 1.20 high base made of Weser sandstone, which was installed in July. This results in a total height of the work of art of 3.50 meters.
