The Wenderner Bach got its name from the village of Kleinwendern. It is a right tributary to the Röslau, originating on the eastern slope of the Burgstein. In 1499 he was called "Wenderspach", in 1692 "Kleine Wendern" or "Zwendernbach". It flows through the village of Kleinwendern, winds its way through meadows to Bad Alexandresbad and, after Dünkelhammer, forms an idyllic valley, the Demutstal. South of Juliushammer it flows into the Röslau. In small turners, derived in an artificial canal (mill race), it drove a grinding mill as early as the 15th century.
