Cafe Schmaus is located in the former brewery in Königsberg and is run by three nice ladies. They offer traditional delicacies, refined with new creative ideas. The cakes are homemade. The atmosphere of the cafe is special. You can sit outside on a variety of different chairs.
Next to the cafe there is also a second-hand shop. Opening times: Thursday to Monday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The elongated building was built in 1810 on the site where the northern city wall once ran. According to a floor plan of the city from 1800, the brewery borders the former “Roßmühle” and the “Alten Viehmarkt” (now Braugasse). The home brewery was stopped for economic reasons.
After a thorough restoration in 1995/97, the city set up an arts and crafts yard. Artists and craftsmen work there and exhibit their works.
