Cycling

The San Gian Church is one of the most famous places of worship in the Engadine. The first church was built on this hill east of Celerina in the late Middle Ages. Later the late Gothic tower was added, which lost its roof in a lightning strike. It has not been rebuilt to this day.

Originally Romanesque predecessor church, renewed in 1476, later the Gothic tower was added. After a lightning strike this lost the roof, which was never replaced. The church is the landmark of Celerina and the whole region.
