There weren't any parents' taxis yet (well, at least not to the extent they are today) and the children came to school either by their own muscle power or by bus.
At 9am the milkman brought a bottle of milk, cocoa or vanilla milk for each child.
There was only one voluntary additional lesson and that was learning to play the recorder, but many took part.
Then you realize that not everything was bad in the past. 😊
