At its feet, you can simply admire it from the wooden bridge that crosses the river or the rocks that outcrop it. The more adventurous can try the adventure at the back of the waterfall.

There are several waterfalls just before Le Mont-Dore. For example "La Grande Cascade", one of the highest in Auvergne, whose waters plunge thirty meters down. A tour leads around the waterfalls Cascade du Queureuilh and Cascade du Rosignolet.
