The marked end of the Paseo de San Pedro is also the Mirador de San Pedro - a viewpoint easily accessible from the old town, located on the cliff north of Playa del Sablón. It offers a beautiful view across the beach towards the city - or, on the other side, towards the sea.
Of course, you can also start a nice walk here along the Paseo de San Pedro by the coast, if you don't want to go hiking out of town right away.
