In the first week of June we cycled the entire Parenzana cycle path in 2 days as part of our 4-country cycle tour from Austria to Croatia. This path is a real challenge for touring cyclists on the Croatian side, despite having MTB tires. The path is now partially blocked by mudslides, overgrown, etc. From Motovun onwards the path is better again and also enjoyable, but still MTB-light. A delight in terms of scenery, but torture for a long-distance tour with luggage.
