At the northwestern end of the lake, there are so-called "whispering mirrors". This is a way to experimentally test the function of sound wave reflection, where information can be exchanged through acoustic sound transmission (acoustic reflection) without further energy input via the parabolic mirrors (90 m away). The two parabolic mirrors serve as both transmitter and receiver. The higher the frequency of the sound (e.g., speech), the better the reception.
