The clay pool is great, but there are small, mean, sharp pebbles in it - it really hurts after a while. It has also been shown to be helpful to have your hands free here. You shouldn't have your shoes in your hands for later "obstacles". We just put them under a bench at the start because all the lockers were occupied.
