In a romantic side valley in Leonstein lies an unexpected jewel of the iron road. Step by step you begin to guess the past empire: that of the Black Counts in the Schmiedleithen. The entire circular route is between 2.5 and 4 kilometers long and easy for young and old to hike. The track is also suitable for strollers. Especially attractive is the way for our little ones: While you are constantly walking along the stream, you will pass by sheep, turkeys, ducks, horses, fish and goats!

TIP for cyclists:
The circular path branches off at Schloss Leonstein from Steyrtal-Radweg!
