In ODECEIXE, you'll encounter a whole series of metal human and animal sculptures populating the site. In addition to the eponymous "Goatherd," other sculptures of this type are gathered – especially in the center – some of which were certainly placed here as a reminder of rural life. We also encounter a modern cyclist, and this gentleman even has a female counterpart – at a viewpoint on the cycle path between Viola Real de Santo Antonio and Castro Marim (if you're interested in the female cyclist, see =>> komoot.com/de-de/highlight/4845032 ).
