Hiking
Fjaerland is a sleepy place that has probably seen its best days. In Fjaerland there is the Josterdalsbreen glacier museum.

Hiking
Fjærland is a sleepy little village by the fjord. There are bookshops and bookstalls everywhere.

Hiking
This part of the fjord was only accessible by boat until the 1980s. With the completion of the road and the end of the ferry service in 1986, the place lost its importance as a central port of call. In search of new meaning, it became one of the internationally renowned book cities. Many houses have bookcases with literature from all over the world.
For hikers and campers it is a good opportunity as a supply base.
